A number of these funds invest in residential property but there are a larger number investing in commercial property. Many are focused on the UK market but there are other more regional funds e.g. European property and global funds. Some funds provide access to riskier and more complex markets such as Eastern European countries, but these carry a far higher potential risk and perhaps return.
