Know Your Customer Procedures
An important part of any relationship between investment adviser and client is to have a clear knowledge of the clients’ affairs. This is to ensure advice is both appropriate and relevant as well as ensuring that Pegasus is able to satisfy its obligations in relation to anti-money laundering regulations. Therefore Pegasus will maintain the following client records:
- A completed client information questionnaire
- Proof of identity through sight of an original official photographic ID (e.g. passport, driving licence, national identity card etc.)
- Proof of residential address through sight of 2 separate original utility bills addressed to the client at their residential address (e.g. water, electricity, telephone, gas, rates etc.)
- A completed source of funds questionnaire which details how the investment funds were accumulated together with any supporting documentation
